Air Traffic Control Training Complex - Johnstown-Cambria County Airport

The Pennsylvania Air National Guard needed a new base of operations for two Mobile Radar units stationed in State College, PA. The challenge of this project was to design this new base at the University Park Airport on 25 acres just below the main runway. Special consideration was given to designing a facility that did not encroach on airport operations or violate FAA regulations while still meeting the needs of the Guard.

- 22,000-square-foot, two-story Operations and Training Facility
- 13,000-square-foot Vehicle Maintenance and AGE Shop
- 10,000-square-foot Base Supply and Mobility Storage Warehouse
- Full commercial kitchen and dining room facility
- Offices, classrooms, and training/maintenance areas
