I-79 Welcome Center

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation did not want just another typical rest stop with brochure racks. They wanted the Welcome Center to be an exciting place to greet visitors and make a great first impression of Pennsylvania. The rich colors and patterns of the wall and floor surfaces, skylights, glass curtain walls, and cathedral ceiling adorned with colorful banners, that depict various Pennsylvania themes, provide a pleasant and inviting interior.
