This project was a combined effort of North Penn and North Wales
Water Authorities to provide more than 80 million gallons/day of
water to the surrounding communities. This multi-facility campus
uses a vaulted metal roof entrance lobby and conference area to
provide a corporate image for the water authority. This "corporate
entrance" area is connected by fully glazed corridors to the
laboratory and water treatment facilities.
A combination of imported granite, brick, glazed brick accents,
architectural precast concrete accents, and red oak casework at
the reception and conference areas were used to convey permanence
and to harmonize with the surrounding suburban/rural landscape.
Project Features:
- 142,000-square-foot, three-story process area and support
facility
- Zero maintenance landscaping
- Lighted lobby fountain
- Custom oak paneling at reception and conference rooms
- Conference/training auditorium with theatre style seating
