Air Traffic Control Training Complex - Johnstown-Cambria County Airport

The Pennsylvania Air National Guard needed to provide a training facility for the 258th Air Traffic Control Squadron based at the Johnstown-Cambria County Airport in Johnstown, PA. The design of the Composite Support Facility was functionally driven and the massing of the building was articulated to reflect the multiple functions of the facility. Additionally, the main entrance was designed to abstractly represent the shape of an air traffic control tower.
