Binney and Smith, Inc., Manufacturing/Distribution Facility

This 200,000-square-foot manufacturing/distribution facility consolidated Crayola products manufacturing facilities from three locations. The new facility automates several manufacturing operations. The fast-track design/build project included 15.3 acres of site development within a restrictive industrial park setting. By working closely with the developer, the contractor, Binney and Smith, and the Lehigh Valley Industrial Park, all approvals and permits were obtained enabling the project to be on schedule for completion within ten months from start of design to completion of construction.
